INVENSENSE TO SHOWCASE ITS iG™ INSTANT GESTURE TECHNOLOGY AT THE APRIL 2007 INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 18, 2007 – InvenSense, the leading provider of integrated motion sensing solutions for mobile applications, today announced that its iG™ instant gesture technology will be showcased at the Spring Intel Developers Forum in Beijing, China. This is the first public demonstration of the company’s iG technology and features several motion sensing applications running on Intel’s Ultra Mobile Personal Computer (UMPC) and Mobile Internet Device (MID) platforms, including user interface control, gaming and GPS navigation.

InvenSense’s highly integrated MEMS motion sensors are designed to meet the stringent market requirements of consumer devices including small size, low cost and robust design. InvenSense has already introduced dual-axis gyroscopes that address these needs in digital cameras, game controllers and personal navigation devices. The huge market success of Nintendo’s Wii and Sony’s Playstation®3 has sparked a surge in the use of motion sensors for consumer devices. InvenSense’s iG technology can enable a multitude of motion sensing related applications by providing a more natural and intuitive user interface resulting in faster adoption of new features and higher customer satisfaction. The adoption of iG technology in mobile devices like UMPCs and MIDs will bring many advanced applications to the market, including vehicle and pedestrian navigation, gaming, user interface control and image stabilization and others.

“InvenSense’s iG technology and motion sensors will enable many killer applications in the UMPC,” said Kelley Johnson, Marketing Manger at Intel. “Intel-based UMPC and MID platforms and the InvenSense iG technology will deliver an industry leading solution for intuitive user interfaces, interactive gaming, image stabilization, and dead reckoning for vehicle and pedestrian navigation.”

“InvenSense believes strongly in enhancing the user experience, and as new generations of mobile devices become increasingly popular, we see a market need for innovation and our instant gesture iG technology is an ideal solution. We are very pleased to be a part of the next generation UMPC platform from Intel,” said Dan Goehl, Vice President of Sales at InvenSense.

InvenSense's product demonstration will take place in the Ultra Mobile Community exhibition area, at the Intel Developer Forum at the Beijing Convention Center in Beijing, China, April 17-18.
