Overview

InvenSense Integrated Z-Axis Gyroscope

The ISZ-1215 is designed for personal navigation device (PND) applications, with a 67°/sec full scale range and 15mV/°/sec sensitivity in a 4x5x1.2mm package size.  With the addition of a patented AutoZero feature for minimizing bias drift over temperature, the ISZ-1215 offers navigation device OEMS a fully-integrated, single Z-axis motion processing solution. 

The ISZ-1215 includes all the integrated electronics required for complete application-ready functionality. Factory-trimmed scale factors eliminate the need for external active components and end-user calibration.

The device leverages InvenSense’s patented and proprietary Nasiri-Fabrication design and manufacturing platform, where the MEMS and CMOS control electronics are bonded and hermetically sealed, allowing direct electrical interconnections and testing at the wafer level.  This approach minimizes parasitic capacitance and improves signal-to-noise ratios versus competitive solutions.

The ISZ-1215 is RoHS and Green Compliant.
