The ISZ Z-axis integrated MEMS rate gyroscope senses rotation on one of three axes of movement, including x (pitch), y (roll), and z (yaw). This technology is designed for high performance game controllers and audio-video remote controllers which require wide dynamic range motion processing, and can be used as an independent yaw-rate sensor, or can be used to compliment the InvenSense Dual Axis family of gyros, for a complete 3-axis solution.
