Electronic Technician (Job ID 12148)

Job Description:

The Electronics Technician is responsible for supporting engineering activities, including assembly, rework, repair, and debug of printed circuit boards and electro-mechanical systems. The candidate must have exceptional SMD rework and assembly skills. The candidate must be able to read a schematic, and follow rework and assembly instructions faithfully. The candidate must have a working knowledge of various lab tools and equipment, including DVMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. The candidate must be able to read and maintain a Bill of Materials.

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Two-year electronic technology Associate Degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional SMD PCB rework and assembly skills with small fine pitch packages
  • Ability to multi-task and simultaneously handle multiple high priority projects
  • General understanding of electronic circuits and board level debug
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electro-mechanical system integration and maintenance
