Sales Manager, Japan
Responsibilities:
- Identify and close large consumer electronics accounts and industrial accounts in the region.
- Manage and support existing customer accounts and distributor relationships already established in the region.
- Set aggressive sales goals and be responsible for the regional sales forecast rollup and securing achievement.
- Prepare product presentations, proposals and quotations.
- Assist management with analyzing market opportunities to develop and implement sales strategies to maximize margins and increase customer and market penetration in the region.
- Understand needs from customers and market and facilitate such market information to business unit to develop industry leading products.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 6+ years semiconductor sales experience selling to engineers and technical groups, preferably in consumer electronics companies.
- Solid experience in qualifying, organizing and pursuing short and long sales-cycle opportunities with successful results.
- Experience managing sales channels partners (independent sales representatives and distributors).
- Excellent communication, negotiation and sales closing skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point and Salesforce.com.
- Travel to US customers and to international locations as needed.
- Ability to manage priorities and be flexible in a dynamic start-up environment.
- Capability of business document writing and presentation skills in both English and Japanese
