Description:
The Human Resources Director will guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resource services, policies, and programs for the entire company. They will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR department. Lead HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The major areas of responsibilities are:
Specific Tasks:
- Organization and career development;
- Reinforcing corporate culture throughout the organization;
- Policy development and documentation;
- Compensation and benefits administration;
- Employee orientation, development, training, retention and succession planning;
- Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns;
- Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health;
- Performance management and improvement systems using Human Resource Information Systems (ADP);
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
- Ten plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
- Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resource and Recruiting networks and organizations.
- Possess ongoing affiliations with leaders in successful companies and organizations that practice effective Human Resources Management.
- Creative thinker and who is results orientated.
