Algorithm / Software Engineer [Department Code 1003]

Description:

Invensense seeks an experienced Algorithm / Software engineer to invent and refine novel motion processing algorithms. The successful candidate will be strong in both signal processing and software development. Examples of relevant previous algorithmic experience may include but are not limited to: motion processing, image processing, and navigation. Invensense will consider mentoring less experienced candidates for this role given evidence of exceptional talent.

Requirements:

• Experience developing novel signal processing algorithms and successfully deploying them in production code.
• Strong signal processing background
• Strong C/C++ coder
• At home in a fast paced startup environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Disciplined test methodology

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Inertial Sensors
• Real-time Embedded Programming experience
• Experience developing embedded code for mobile consumer platforms
• MS/PhD or equivalent
• 6+ yrs related experience
