Description:
The successful candidate will be part of the InvenSense MEMS Fabrication team responsible for foundry management and the development of new processes to support InvenSense’s next generation products. This position requires in-depth knowledge of MEMS processes and equipment through hands-on experience leading to demonstrated contribution to MEMS based products. The candidate should have worked closely with foundries at both the engineering and management levels.
Requirements:
- MSEE, MS Physics, or higher
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
- Strong engineering background in process and materials
- Hands on experience with MEMS fabrication – specifically DRIE and wafer bonding
- Good understanding of processing and metrology equipment – capabilities and limitations
- Direct contribution in technologies leading to products through critical thinking,
good problem solving skills and demonstrated innovation
- DFM and Risk Matrix experience leading to PFMEA and DFMEA
- Knowledge of backend processes such as dicing, wafer thinning, bumping etc.
- Experience with MEMS layout and device characterization
