MEMS Engineer

Description:

The MEMS Engineer will be responsible to support MEMS development activities including layout, test development and hands-on characterization. The candidate should have extensive layout experience. The candidate should also have proficiency at MEMS bench level testing. Ability to develop necessary software to assist MEMS characterization is required. The MEMS Engineer will work closely with Project leaders and senior design engineers to develop new products. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly-motivated detail oriented individual with a broad background in MEMS.

Requirements:

  • MS or higher, and five years of related experience
  • Extensive experience with L-Edit: layout, DRC
  • Understanding of microfabrication processes
  • Working knowledge of test equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscope, DMMs
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in MEMS device characterization

Preferred Requirements:

  • FEA modeling experience ANSYS
  • Familiarity with PXI (National Instruments) test system
  • CMOS layout and Cadence experience
  • Visual Basic, Visual C, or Labview experience
  • Ability to program code for test hardware
  • Ability to debug of simple analog and digital electronic circuit boards
