Out triple-axis gyroscope and accelerometer devices have been designed into a variety of gaming, mobile phone, and TV remote applications in consumer electronic equipment. The rapid growth of product volume, customer base, and addressable markets has resulted in the need for a experienced Product Engineer whose main responsibilities will be managing volume production for new and existing products at high yields. He/she will work with the Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to improve and maintain product yields, define and automate test procedures, track product improvements and quality, and maintain device performance to published specifications for new products and packages.

Requirements:

  • Minimum BS in EE, ME, or Physics, MS preferred
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and tools
  • Fluency in using test instruments such as oscilloscope, function generators, power supplies
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits
  • Knowledge of CMOS wafer fabrication process
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in semiconductor or related manufacturing

Qualifications & Education:

  • Knowledge of MEMS fabrication processes
  • Experience with ATE testers
  • Experience with advanced correlation methods such as PCA highly desirable
  • Familiarity with SPI/I2C and GPIB interfaces
  • Previous experience writing characterization test procedures
  • Experience with PXI platforms
  • Familiarity with test problems such as contact issues for both wafer sort and final test
  • Packaging experience with QFN and LGA preferred

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of MEMS fabrication processes
